Absolute 2 v 1 matches feature 30 minutes of non-stop action structured as follows:

• 25 minutes of competitive submission wrestling that includes

     ▫︎ 20 minutes where the two-fighter team must tag in and out

     ▫︎ 5 minutes where the two-fighter team can attack at the same time

     ▫︎ the side with the most submissions scored at the end of regulation time is the winner

• 5 minutes where the winner(s) gets to punish the loser(s)

*a tied score at the end of 25 minutes will result in the fight continuing until the tie is broken and the winner(s) will then have any time remaining to punish the loser(s)
